Early Retirement Club

Early Retirement Club

The Club was founded in 1982 to accommodate male retirees from Blue Circle, Northfleet and has since expanded to include retirees from all walks of life. Our membership currently embraces a broad spectrum of the community, providing the club with a similarly minded, interesting and diverse group, which you will find warm & friendly.

We ask that you pay £3 entrance fee, which includes coffee/tea and biscuits and a raffle ticket for a bottle of wine. Our yearly membership is £10 to allow for 24 meetings to be held throughout the year, with excellent speakers covering a wide range of topics. During the year 3 dates are set aside where ladies are invited to join us.

The club meets on alternate Tuesdays from 9.30am until 12 noon followed if you wish to stay to lunch until 1pm. We offer a 3 course meal plus cheese/biscuits and coffee for £5.

We hold a Christmas dinner which is well supported and if the membership are interested we organise occasional inexpensive trips to various locations.

If you wish to come along initially as a guest you are most welcome, please contact us.
